Hira FlexiCell® is a chemically cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). This closed cell foam, with a great insulation value (k-value) of 0.032W/mK can be used in a wide range of temperatures, from to -80 degrees Celsius. The factory flame laminated aluminised foil, in combination with the closed cell structure creates a double vapour barrier on chilled and cold applications. The sheet product is commonly used to insulate duct and equipment and reduce vibration noise. The rolls come in different thicknesses and with or without adhesive backing.
