In some situations, the steel clips that come with the pins are not practical. The Nylon thumb clips provide a clean, safe and more corrosion resistant alternative to the steel washers that come with the pins. Simply spear the insulation over the pin and top it off with one of these clips. Make sure that the pin is roughly the same size as the insulation, otherwise there will be a gap between the Nylon Thumb clip and the insulation.
