The perforated base pins are used in combination with an adhesive. The perforations in the large base, ensure the pins have an increased surface area for the adhesive to connect to both the pins and the surface it needs to stick to. These pins are commonly used on rough surfaces, such as concrete and bricks, but can be used on nearly all surfaces. These pins are most commonly used in combination with blanket, wraps and (semi-) rigid board. The pins come with the appropriate clips to secure the insulation and are available in different lengths.
