Description

Semi rigid board is a fibrous glasswool product with a thermal conductivity (k-value) of 0.033 W/mK and a density of 32kg/m3. The boards come in different thicknesses and there are different facings available. Semi Rigid Insulation can be unfaced, or supplied with with your choice of one of the following facing materials: Sisalation Heavy Duty Perforated Foil Facing, Vapastop 883 Foil Facing, Black Matt Facing (BMF) Glass tissue or Sisalation Heavy Duty Foil Facing.
The boards are used in the thermal and acoustic insulation of ducts, fans and equipment, but are also used in plantrooms for both thermal and sound absorbing qualities. Additional applications include the insulation of storage tanks, process vessels, appliance cabinets, electrostatic precipitators and for use in the manufacture of acoustic baffles.
The product is Australian made and manufactured from up to 80% recycled content.
