Semi Rigid Board, for internal acoustic and thermal duct insulation.
Description
– Fibrous, non-combustible glasswool board for duct insulation
– Primarily used with perforated foil as internal duct lining
– Both acoustic and thermal properties
– Works well with perforated, stick and weld pins
Semi rigid board is a fibrous glasswool product with a thermal conductivity (k-value) of 0.033 W/mK and a density of 32kg/m3. There are different facings available, such a perforated foil, mylar and kraft paper foil. The boards find most of the use in the thermal and acoustic insulation of ducts, fans and equipment, but are also used in plantrooms for both thermal and sound absorbing qualities.
The boards come in different thicknesses.
